As the years passed by, the love from daddu made me stronger and blissful.
A few months and more, the foot arches developed a confidence in me.
Those jealous moments when i saw everyone walking, running and rushing effortlessly & elegantly leaving me behind with a crawl.
But that day! it was a different day;
step 1: The hands pressed against the ground with all stamina.
step 2: Raise the tui
step 3: Stand, maintain the balance
step 4: And walk like a boss.
The performance was in front of the whole family. Everyone rushed for their cameras to capture the moment.
But LOL as daddu told cheese,
Thud!
I was on the ground again, smiling with joy, fingers dipped in saliva.
Everyone was like "aaj toh ladoo bato".
Kisses, Money, clothes showering for the grandson's first step on earth.
It was a good day, the day with attention, love, kisses.
I still remember the sight of my daddu & dadi jhuming with joy.
Dadi!! be like
"Apply the kala tika", waving money over the head.
Me unaware of the importance of money, enjoyed the revolving of papers(These papers seem to be pretty much important now :p)
So this was one of the instance. The most important moment in a parent's life, watching their part growing and walking, chanting their names, smiling.
I know everyone of you see this as a mere thing but there is someone who was not vaccinated on time craving for their first step on earth even though they are may be 15 now.
so its not that you did it,
so it is simple,
its not everyone could do it.
For the ones with this
i am proud that you are still going on.
Finally what matters is how well you walk through the fire. (y)
Just a walk.
